Workplace Strategies served as the Owners Representative and Lead Design Consultant for Inmar Inc.’s new corporate headquarters. Our firm organized and managed the architectural and engineering team in an unusually technically complex project. Services included leading the client through an extensive exploration of advance workplace concepts, benchmarking, and a highly detailed space program requirements document. The final 450 page report included vision, goals, planning guidelines, space standards, detailed departmental reports, and a survey of all 850 employees. This adaptive reuse of legacy tobacco manufacturing facilities in the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter of downtown Winston-Salem combined sophisticated workplace concepts including sit-stand workstations for all employees, a low horizon concept maintaining views and daylighting, and a high ratio and variety of meeting and collaboration spaces.
